Not a quick overview. Not a sales pitch. A real look at how I work, what I prioritize, and why couples who care about legacy — not just a highlight reel — keep finding their way here.
If you've made it to this page, you're probably the kind of person who's already thought about what this film will mean ten or twenty years from now. Good. That's exactly how I think about it too.
What you're about to watch is a collection of real moments from real couples — pulled from weddings I've filmed across New England and beyond since 2017. No two are the same, because no two couples are. But they all share the same thing: voices, laughter, and presence, preserved exactly as they happened.
Some of these films are a few months old. Some are years. And every single couple still has their footage in my archive — because that's how I've always treated this work. Watch it and imagine pressing play on your own day, decades from now
*On the occasions when I'm unavailable for rehearsal dinner coverage, I work with a small, trusted network of associates who share my approach to documentary storytelling. What I can promise you is this — I will be there on your wedding day. My presence from getting ready through the last dance is something I protect fiercely, because that's where the story lives.
Every couple's day looks a little different. These add-ons are here for the moments you don't want to leave out . Available to pair with any collection.

Who will be filming my wedding?
No matter which package you select, I will be the lead videographer. Every wedding I book, I’m there! In rare cases, such as illness or injury, I may not be able to attend, but if that does happen, I’ll inform you as soon as possible and arrange a suitable replacement.
Who are your second filmmakers?
I have a handful of trusted go-to people who know my style and understand exactly what I’m looking for, and I fully trust their abilities. I would never bring someone unfamiliar to film your wedding as a second videographer. In the rare case that I need to bring someone I don’t work with regularly, they would first join as an assistant to me and the second filmmaker before I trust them to step in as a second.
Do you travel?
Short answer: Absolutely!
I love to travel! I have filmed throughout New England and New York. I would love the opportunity to travel outside of the Northeast!
For weddings or events that are over 2.5 hours from my location, I do charge a travel fee to cover the additional time and expenses. This helps me ensure I’m fully present and ready to capture your day without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by the drive.
The fee varies depending on the specific location and any overnight accommodations that might be necessary. I’d be happy to provide a personalized quote once I know more details about your plans. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’m here to help make this process as smooth as possible!
Do you only take one wedding per weekend?
What I can promise is that on your wedding day, I am fully yours. My attention, my energy, my creativity, all of it is dedicated to you from the moment I arrive until I pack up at the end of the night.
I don’t double-book wedding days, and I never show up depleted or distracted. What I do intentionally limit is the total number of weddings I take on each year, never more than 15. That cap exists for a reason. It means every couple I say yes to gets a version of me that is present, energized, and fully invested, not stretched thin across a packed calendar. That’s the promise that matters, and it’s one I take seriously every single time.
Have you worked at my venue before?
Whether I’ve worked at your venue before or not truly doesn’t matter at all. I approach every wedding with a fresh perspective and a creative mindset. In fact, part of my process includes asking detailed questions in your final questionnaire about the layout and setup of both your ceremony and reception. I also ask for any photos or floorplans you might have so I can get a solid feel for the space ahead of time.
If I’ve filmed at your venue before, that’s just a fun bonus but if not, I always take time to research the location and come fully prepared. I’ll know exactly where I need to be and when, so you can just enjoy your day knowing everything is covered.
Are you insured?
Yes, The Heartfelt Narrative has liability insurance through Next Insurance, and proof coverage can be given upon request.
Do you offer aerial coverage
Aerial coverage has been added to every collection for no additional cost! Please keep in mind that we can only offer this service if the weather and location permit it.
How long does it take to receive our final collection?
Your film is not something I rush. Every wedding I take on gets the same level of care and attention in the edit room that I gave it on the day itself, and that takes time. Depending on the time of year, you can expect to receive your completed collection within 3 to 6 months. I work diligently to get your film to you as soon as possible, but never at the expense of the quality you deserve.
Do you have backup personnel and equipment?
Yes. I know several videographers I can reach out to in an emergency. I also carry backup audio recorders and cameras in case of malfunction, and we always have more batteries and cards than I actually need. Your footage is also backed up multiple times and stored in case of drive malfunction.
Do you meet with couples prior to booking?
I love to meet with anyone who inquires with us! I also understand that wedding planning can be super stressful and busy, so if you can’t fit in a meeting, we can Zoom or chat on the phone I’m even cool with just texting! Regardless of what you want, I always send out a questionnaire and set up a zoom meeting before the big day to ensure I have everything I need and answer any questions you may have. I also go over what time would be best for me to start and end filming and make sure we are on the same page; that way you can spend time celebrating and not worrying about what your vendors are doing.
What if something happens and I lose my collection after you delivered it?
Since I started this company in 2017, I have not deleted a single wedding collection or file. I believe that memories like these should not be deleted. After I deliver your collection, I store all of the files from your day, as well as all the project files and final films, in my archive. Rest assured, I can retrieve your videos for you. Just keep in mind that even though I have everything archived, it can take time to pull everything and get you the files.
It’s after my wedding, can I add more edits?
Yes! Just send me an email, and I can send you an invoice. Please keep in mind that depending on the time of year and how busy it is, it might take a bit to get it to you. The invoice must be paid before I add it to my editing queue.
Who chooses the music for our film?
I usually choose the music for your film. I spend hours and hours listening to music until I find the perfect song that matches the vibe of the day. I will ask questions about your favorite and least favorite genres of music in your final questionnaire, as well as pay attention to the music played at your wedding. If you want more say in the music for your film, I can send you a playlist of songs that I feel fit the feel of your day. For copyright reasons, I have to license the music I use. I have several websites where I can license music from, but unfortunately, most popular music cannot be licensed.
Ashlee/The Heartfelt Narrative absolutely blew us away, and we could not be happier with the videos we have from our wedding day. She went above and beyond to capture every little detail and turn it into the most beautiful final videos that we will cherish forever and ever.
